COVID-19, Vaccine & Mask FAQ

Do I have to wear a mask during my massage?

No. Masks are no longer required but you are, of course, welcome to wear a mask if you choose to do so. Disposable masks are available in my office if you don't bring your own. 

Will you, Sheri, wear a mask during my massage?

I will happily wear a mask for anyone who requests it. You do not need to provide a reason. I will also proactively wear a mask if I feel there is the slightest chance I may be getting sick, if I am recovering from illness, and/or before and after major holidays, trips or vacations. 

Are you, Sheri, vaccinated?

Yes. I am fully vaccinated and have received 2 boosters, including the new bivalent booster.

What else are you doing to keep me safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19?

Mountain Therapeutic Massage LLC continues to strictly adhere to all safety regulations and sanitation protocols provided by massage industry professional organizations, the CDC and state and local health and governing authorities. This goes beyond simply changing linens and blankets between each client and following mask and handwashing protocols; it also includes HEPA air purification and using EPA-certified disinfectants between each client on all surfaces that the therapist or client may have touched, including all doorknobs, bottles, bolsters, electronics, furniture, etc.  This requires more time between each client, therefore scheduling protocols have also been adjusted to allow sufficient time for proper disinfection. In addition, Mountain Therapeutic Massage is prepared to stop practice immediately and follow current isolation and quarantine guidance if any clients or I, or anyone I've been in contact with, demonstrate COVID-19 symptoms or test positive, to verify that I am not contagious or a carrier. 

What should I do if I feel sick or have tested positive, or have been exposed to someone who is sick or tested positive? Will I be charged a cancellation fee?

If you have, or you recently had, a fever, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath, or if you've been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who was diagnosed with COVID or has COVID-type symptoms, please do not come in for your massage. You can reschedule or cancel your appointment without penalty.  Please notify me as soon as possible via the contact info below.
